VITTORIO BONINO

Vittorio Bonino earned a bachelor’s degree in Physics Engineering at Politecnico di Torino in 2018 and a Master degree in Physics of Advanced Technologies at the University of Torino in 2020 with a thesis carried out at Prima Electro about the control of the degree of polarization of the optical beam in high power laser diode.

During the thesis work he developed a numerical model to predict the polarization rotation of photons in the laser resonator due to the photoelastic effects.

Nowadays, he’s attending a PhD in physics at the Politecnico di Torino and he’s working on the fabrication and characterization of optical metasurfaces.
